This is your opportunity to lead meaningful projects that go beyond technical excellencethey improve lives.Youll Love This Role IfYoure passionate about designing systems that directly impact patient care, and you thrive on creating environments that promote healing, safety, and comfort.You enjoy collaborating across disciplines, working closely with architects, engineers, and healthcare planners to bring thoughtful, integrated solutions to life.You take pride in mentoring others and advancing BIM practices, using your Revit expertise to elevate team capabilities and improve project delivery.What Youll DoLead mechanical design assignments with a focus on healthcare facilities, applying advanced knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems to support healing environments.Champion patient-centered design by integrating mechanical systems that enhance comfort, safety, and infection control.Use your expertise in Revit to produce high-quality documentation and mentor junior technologists, along with contributing to the development and refinement of Revit standards, templates and workflows.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and healthcare planners to ensure mechanical systems align with clinical workflows and regulatory standards.Conduct site surveys and field reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.Support contract administration and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, aligned with WalterFedys values of quality, client focus, teamwork, sustainability, and community.What You Bring to the TableDiploma in Architecture/Construction Engineering Technology or a related field.7+ years of experience in mechanical design and drafting, especially in healthcare settings.Advanced proficiency in Revit.Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, OBC, NFPA, CSA Z317.2 and other relevant codes.Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Experience in contract administration and mentoring is a strong asset.Why WalterFedy?WalterFedy is a leader in healthcare design, known for delivering innovative, patient-centered solutions that support healing and operational excellence.
