With over 80 years of experience in the industry, we are committed to innovating and delivering products that enhance our customers' lives while minimizing environmental impact.Role OverviewAs our Demand Planning Manager, you will lead the S&OP process, highlighting critical insights to the leadership team, supporting the business to achieve excellent results. You will manage the demand planning tool to maximise inventory availability, stock turn and inventory position. Managing a small team, you will be responsible for setting and monitoring KPIs and managing the forecasting process.You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the business with your team to ensure the right stock is available at the right time.Main DutiesWork with Sales Leadership Team to review sales inputs to ensure sales forecast is accurateAnalyse and challenge the sales forecast where required to improve forecast accuracyDetermine and establish optimal inventory levels based on demand and lead times by updating and reviewing product supply planSet and maintain the KPIs within the demand planning team to include, but not limited to stock availability, customer OTIF, stock turn, inventory positionsMaintain master data planning information (e.g. MOQs, lead times)Identify and manage excess and obsolete stockManage stock requirements for new product launches, aligned with sell-through for outgoing productsCollaborate with internal customers and provide a high level of customer service, including recommending solutions, resources, and alternative supply optionsMaintain/Improve existing supplier relationships, build new relationships as required and define communication channelsEnsure and promote compliance to Company and Procurement policies and proceduresDevelop a culture of continuous improvement within our supplier base and internal stakeholdersManages, motivates and assesses performance of the demand planning teamQualificationsAdvanced proficiency with software systems including IFS systems and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills required)Proven working experience within a demand planning roleAnalytical with strong communication skills at all levels and a confident team playerExcellent problem solving and organisational skillsAbility to work to strict deadlines and remain calm under pressureExperience using forecasting tools and the ability to interpret data to improve performance within the demand function.Proven ability to work quickly and accurately, with an eye on suggesting improvements to processes and systems.Meticulous organisation skills and a keen attention for detailsRelishes variety, whilst maintaining a methodical approach to getting the job doneGreat communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to get things done via othersAbility to manage a diverse range of people to motivate them, provide guidance and encourage an environment where all have a voiceAble to influence and negotiate persuasively at peers and senior level internally and externallyDynamic approach to problem solving on medium as well as short term issuesHighly analytical with the ability to work with large data, whilst being able to summarise the detail and essence to key stakeholdersBenefits23 days' holiday + Bank HolidaysCompany Pension schemeCompany Sick Pay (after qualifying period)Cycle to Work scheme availableEmployee rewards and discountsOption to join Health Care Cash Plan24/7365-day access to Employee Assistance Programme through Health AssuredAccess to on-going learning and development with our online learning platformOpportunity for career progressionTheres onsite parking #J-18808-Ljbffr
