Become a children''s literacy facilitator and support their reading journey. Provide individual guidance using effective strategies in a flexible volunteer program, both online and in-person. In this volunteer role, you will work one-on-one with two elementary students to foster their reading development. Each volunteer will hold sessions lasting 30 minutes, twice a week over the course of eight weeks. You will receive training that covers key reading methods and strategies and will have access to all necessary resources. This program runs for four terms annually: fall, winter, spring, and summer. Key Responsibilities: Assist two students in enhancing reading skills Conduct individual sessions twice weekly Complete training on reading techniques Utilize provided resources for sessions Create a welcoming environment for learners Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old Criminal Record Check required Minimum CLB 8 needed Make a lasting impact on childrens literacy through your dedication and support. #J-18808-Ljbffr
