We are seeking an exceptional **Senior Brand Manager** to play a pivotal role in leading the marketing strategy and execution of our fast-growing contact lens portfolio in the eye care category. As the Senior Brand Manager you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing clearly defined marketing strategies to develop our industry-leading contact portfolio. This includes driving brand growth, improving brand equity, generating short- and long-term ROI for our brands. This role is multi-channel growing our brands through marketing directly to consumers, and to Canadian Eyecare Professionals.This role awaits an individual who takes pride in their work, demonstrates a high level of accountability, and functions with integrity. The individual must be strong in building internal relationships and be able to manage stakeholders across the organization locally and globally. The person should be ready to jump in and make an immediate impact through a positive and proactive nature, and credible experience at our **Mississauga, Canada** office. In this role a typical day will include:* Develop and implement marketing strategies (short and long-term) and tactical plans for brands in the Contact Lens portfolio to generate demand for our brands, and drive sales, market share and profit improvements.* Establish marketing tactical plans including advertising/promotions, pricing, distribution channel management, tactical plan development and execution.* Deliver strong, relevant commercial programs that entice consumers to trust and try our brands and drive influence for Alcon product recommendations based on consumer and customer insights.* Execute new product launches to accelerate growth. Partner with Global Marketing teams to collaborate on launch timings and resource allocation and ensure strategy and tactical execution of new product launches is strong.* Define channel product positioning and competitive selling strategies.* Conduct analysis of specific business issues and evaluate competitive activity, product performance and marketing communications and proactively share findings.* Motivate field sales organization through partnering on insights-gathering through to sales aide creation to tactical execution.* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve objectives; Stakeholders include Global Marketing, National Accounts, Customer Excellence, Supply & Operations, Finance, Field Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Professional Education and Senior Management.* Work closely with agency partners (creative, media, PR) to develop, evaluate, execute, and track advertising/promotions.* Work alongside Professional Education to leverage alliances with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to drive scientific understanding of our brands with customers and consumers and amplify Alcon presence at conventions and industry events.* A&P budget & sample management forecasting and adherence.* Seek financial improvements, including pricing, mix, promotions, ROI on marketing and promotional expenditures.* Mentorship of Interns, Associate and Product Managers on the team.**WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:*** Bachelors Degree (Bachelor of Commerce or B.Sc)* The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.* 5+ years brand management experience in CPG or OTCPreferred Qualifications:* Degree in Business, Marketing, Biochemistry, or Communications.* 5+ years marketing experience* 2-3 years pharmaceutical sales experience.* Bilingual English/French is a plus.* Talented in developing strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.* Ability to translate strategies into actionable and realistic marketing actions.* Aptitude with both qualitative and quantitate data to distill insights for action.* Robust ability to plan, manage and execute multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.**HOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON:*** Engage in Alcons mission to provide top-tier, innovative products and solutions to enhance sight & improve lives.* Grow your career and utilize your leadership expertise in a highly collaborative and diverse environment.* Alcon provides a robust benefits package including health, life, retirement, paid time off, and much more!* Travel Requirements: up to 20% Occasional weekend and evening work (i.e. conferences, meetings, customer events).**Alcon Careers**See your impact at#LI-DNI**ATTENTION: Current Alcon Employee/Contingent Worker**If you are currently an active employee/contingent worker at Alcon, please click the appropriate link below to apply on the Internal Career site.Alcon Canada Inc. is proud to provide employment accommodation during the recruitment process.
