Financial Analyst Remote CanadaAspire Software is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance team in Canada!Aspire Software acquires, builds, and scales vertical-market software businesses worldwide. We operate with a long-term mindset, empower local leadership, and hold ourselves to a high bar of operational and people excellence.The Financial Analyst is responsible for managing transactional accounting processes, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), and maintaining financial records. This role plays a key part in ensuring the timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations while supporting financial reporting and compliance requirements.Our motto is 'Be Humble, Stay Hungry!'The successful candidate will be based anywhere in Canada, working in a remote work model!What your day will look likeAccounts Payable (AP) Management:Process vendor invoices, ensure accuracy, and match with purchase ordersManage payment schedules, process payments (wire transfers), and resolve discrepanciesMaintain relationships with vendors and contractorsAccounts Receivable (AR) Management:Working with the AR team to be the bridge between finance and operationsBased on hardware invoices issued to customers, determine COGS to be bookedAssist with the review and reporting of A/R Aging as requiredBank Reconciliation and Expense Management:Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate posting of transactionsReconcile credit card expenses, employee reimbursements, and travel expense reportsGeneral Accounting and Compliance:Maintain accurate records in NetSuite (ERP System), ensuring all transactions are properly documentedIncluding revenue transfer agreements, payroll, expenses and credit card allocationsAssist in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliationsEnsure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and audit requirementsPerform variance analysis of actual results vs financial plans and create the monthly reporting packsParticipate in the completion of audit engagements and compliance requestsAbout YouAt least 2-3 years at the financial analyst level with experience in payroll posting and AP processingAt least a bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a similar related discipline is essentialStrong knowledge of AP/AR processes, reconciliations, and financial record-keepingExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsStrong skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills for vendor and customer interactionsExcellent organizational skills and time managementWorking knowledge of Oracle NetSuite ERP (or similar) is considered an assetFast learner and adaptable time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesFluent in English, both written and verbal, is essentialLegally authorized to work in CanadaFor more information about Aspire Software, please visit thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.#aspiresoftware #J-18808-Ljbffr
