Position Summary Parttime High School English Teacher/English Tutor teaching position at Oxford Learning North York Willowdale. Location Unit 302, 121 Willowdale Ave., North York, ON, Toronto, Ontario. Employment Type & Salary Parttime; $18.00 $23.00 per hour. Schedule Evenings (3:00pm 8:00pm), MondayFriday; Saturday availability. Minimum of 2 evenings per week. Commitment through the 20252026 school year (June30) and possible summer continuation. Position Requirements Availability during afterschool and evening hours (3:00pm 8:00pm). Available for a minimum of 2 evenings/week. Commitment through the end of the 20252026 school year (June30), with the possibility of continuing through the summer. Inperson instruction. Ability to commute to the designated location relocation packages are not available. Mandatory vulnerable sector screening. Education Bachelors degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field. Fourthyear university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered. Teaching certification an asset. Good knowledge of the current K12 curriculum. Experience Some experience teaching/tutoring at a K12 (or equivalent) level. Strong English written and oral communication skills; ability to guide students understanding. Teaching French desirable. Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time. Responsibilities Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels. Teaching online and in-person. Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies. Filling in postlesson notes. Completing daily student communication updates. Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times.
