As a Lab Patient Technician, you will perform critical tasks such as greeting patients, conducting phlebotomies, and preparing specimens for testing. You'll also maintain client relationships and ensure accuracy in data entry, all while adhering to patient privacy standards. Key Responsibilities: Greet and collect information from patients before specimens Perform phlebotomies and ECG tracings as needed Complete documentation for special test collections Maintain client relationships and respond to inquiries Prepare specimens for transport and testing Requirements: Graduate of a Laboratory Assistant program preferred Experience in phlebotomy is an asset Strong customer service and empathy skills Good computer skills with 40 wpm typing speed Ability to maintain patient confidentiality Become a part of a team that values care, agility, and teamwork while making an impact on the health of Canadians. #J-18808-Ljbffr
