# Product DesignerFull-Time## About the roleScaling Process, a 5-star rated agency based in Montreal, seeks a product designer to design SaaS platforms, AI tools, and custom software products for startups and growing businesses.We operate as both a client services agency and a product venture studio - meaning you'll design client products AND products we own and build ourselves.This is a fully remote role with EST time zone availability required. We value speed, craft, and shipping beautiful products daily/weekly.You'll work directly with a small, tight team that ships fast and holds a high bar.## What we're looking forWe're looking for experienced product designers only. You must have a portfolio of real shipped products - side projects you designed yourself count and are highly valued. We will review everything carefully.No portfolio = no consideration.Requirements* 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and shipping real digital products* Expert in Figma - it's your primary tool* Strong understanding of UI/UX principles - you design for users, not just aesthetics* AI-first - you leverage AI tools daily to work smarter and faster. Claude AI, Cursor, OpenAI - you're comfortable with these and always looking to learn more. Non-negotiable.* Strong written and spoken English. Additional languages (French, Spanish, etc.) are a bonus.* Design beautiful, functional interfaces for SaaS platforms, mobile apps, and web products* Own the full design process - from wireframes and user flows to polished UI ready for dev handoff* Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented pixel-perfectly* Design internal products and ventures we own and build as a studio* Contribute to and maintain design systems and component libraries* Collaborate with the PM and dev team to translate business requirements into great user experiences* A builder with taste - you care deeply about craft and can tell the difference between good and great* Detail-oriented - pixel-perfect, consistent, nothing half-baked* High-agency and resourceful - you figure things out, move fast, and don't wait to be told what to do* Founder mentality with strong ownership mindset* Calm and stoic under pressure - you stabilize, not escalate* Coachable, open to feedback, and a genuine team player* Someone who loves to learn and adapts fast - new tools, new domains, no problem* You leverage AI to learn fast, get unblocked, and find answers on your own* You understand how software is built - you design with developers in mind* Business-minded - if you've run a business or built something from scratch, we value that experience highly* Security-conscious - you handle client assets and files with care.
