TRP has a current vacancy for an Electrical Technical Lead who will provide technical leadership for electrical systems supporting a major rail transit infrastructure project delivered by Trillium Rail Partners (TRP). The role ensures electrical systems are designed, integrated, and delivered in accordance with safety, operational, and performance requirements while supporting constructability and integration with all engineering disciplines. The Electrical Technical Lead works closely with architectural, mechanical, structural, and systems engineering teams to coordinate building services and mechanical systems throughout the project lifecycle Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership for electrical engineering scope across stations, tunnels, guideways, and support facilities. Ensure consistency in the electrical designs and solutions across the project. Mentor electrical technical coordinators across the project. Oversee electrical system design including power distribution, emergency power, lighting, grounding, and related infrastructure. Review engineering designs, drawings, specifications, equipment selections, technical submissions and calculations prepared by consultants. Coordinate interfaces between mechanical systems and architectural, electrical, and structural elements. Support constructability reviews and provide technical input into construction methods and sequencing. Support resolution of architectural technical issues, RFIs, and design changes during construction. Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, stakeholder workshops, and technical coordination meetings. Assist the construction, procurement, estimating and scheduling teams with technical review and inputs of construction schedule, procurement packages, estimating scope and assumption and scheduling assumptions. Support testing, commissioning, and integration of electrical systems. Qualifications Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility in Ontario. Experience delivering electrical infrastructure on major construction or transit projects. Experience with stations electrical systems, or large infrastructure electrical systems is highly desirable. Strong electrical systems engineering expertise. Systems integration mindset. Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
