Role Overview Brookhaven is one of the largest experiences on Roblox, with millions of players jumping in every day. At Voldex, were looking for a Software Engineer to help build the next chapter of the game from new features and gameplay systems to technical improvements that keep the experience polished, scalable, and fun. Youll collaborate closely with designers, artists, and producers, write clean and maintainable Roblox Lua code, and ship updates that reach a massive global player base. What Youll Do Build and launch features that delight millions of players dailyWrite clean, performant, and maintainable Roblox Lua codePartner closely with designers, artists, and producers to craft compelling gameplay experiencesDebug, optimize, and improve live game systemsElevate the technical quality and performance of our gamesPlaytest regularly and provide thoughtful design and product feedback Our engineers dont just ship code they help shape the player experience. Who You Are Strong foundation in CS fundamentals and problem-solvingFamiliarity with game engines, scripting languages, version controlExcellent communication and collaborative mindset2+ years of Roblox development experience Nice to Have: Bachelors degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent development experienceExperience working in game teamsShipped games or features on Roblox or similar platformsGame jam or modding experienceFamiliarity with live game systems (analytics, economy tuning, balancing)2+ years professional software development experience Tech Stack Roblox Lua scriptingAnalytics pipelines (Snowflake, Tableau)Collaboration tools: GitHub, Discord Location Remote / Timezone: must be willing to work EST/PST hoursTravel: 2 to 3x / year (onboarding, RDC + possible team meet-ups)Hiring Regions: Canada, UK, LATAM Voldex is an equal opportunity employer.
