Responsibilities Own customer relationships, territories and account strategies. Grow/maintain revenue and develop new business opportunities in existing or new commercial customers. Champion TELUS within customer organizations while advocating internally for them. Partner with interdependent account team of specialty sales and technical presales, and draw in executive leaders as needed. Demonstrate key sales competencies such as Business Acumen, Critical Thinking, Customer Focus, Grit (Energy and Drive), and Teamwork/Collaboration. Prepare professional proposals targeting key decision makers that communicate TELUS firstinclass solutions and value proposition. Negotiate contracts, initiate orders and pursue new business with grit, energy, and determination. Provide feedback to marketing and sales regarding potential challenges, opportunities, and competitive insights. Effectively create, manage and close a funnel of opportunities and sales operations utilizing SalesForce. Qualifications Approximately 5 years of experience in direct sales utilizing formal sales methodologies. Knowledge of the broader telco and emerging technology marketplace and experience in complex solution environments. Demonstrate business and technical acumen, identifying and communicating financially sound TELUS solutions while leveraging understanding of technologies, products, services, and resources. Proven track record of fostering strong, trustbased relationships that align with TELUS value proposition. Strong customer understanding and responsiveness, with analytical skills to prioritize and make factbased decisions. Skilled at negotiating mutually satisfactory resolutions.
