Job Overview BBA is currently seeking an Intermediate Process Engineer to join a Canada-wide team that delivers high-quality engineering and consulting services. As an intermediate engineer, youll lead project execution in the Advanced Fuels and Chemicals (AFC) sector, ensuring technical quality, budget and schedule performance, while helping grow the local team and strengthen client relationships. Youll also play a key role in developing the team through mentoring, daily guidance and structured knowledge sharing. Type of position: Regular Responsibilities Lead and participate in the development, piloting and scale-up of new processes in the Advanced Fuels and Chemical sectors, from concept through to detailed engineering and implementation. Execute projects collaboratively with our national and international teams, contributing to a single bottom-line. Lead and support the AFC process team in executing single and multidisciplinary projects, ensuring robust planning, progress tracking, change management and risk mitigation throughout the project life cycle. Organize, prepare and review process engineering deliverables such as massenergy balances using simulation software; develop process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) and technical specifications for process equipment, and technical and economic studies. Participate in risk assessment studies (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, Whatif). Support the departments growth by initiating and seizing business development opportunities, leveraging your network to generate proposals, giving presentations for new clients or projects and building and fostering relationships by meeting and exceeding expectations by delivering quality work. Over 4 years of experience working in a consulting firm. More than 10 years of relevant experience in project execution in the advanced fuels and chemicals, oil and gas or chemicals industries. Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles. P. Eng. designation in Qubec or eligible to register with the OIQ. Proficient with Aspen Plus and Aspen HYSYS process simulation software. Proficient with Fathom or other simulation software for hydraulic calculations. Excellent written and spoken communication. Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Englishspeaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects.
