Our client in the auto manufacturing sector is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support and optimize moulding processes in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. This role focuses on process control, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety across production operations.Location: Belleville, OntarioResponsibilitiesManage daily technical activities of moulding processes, ensuring stable and controlled operationsExecute and support start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting proceduresAnalyze and improve process performance, reducing scrap and optimizing efficiencyMonitor baseline process conditions and ensure all changes are documented and validatedCollaborate with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams on production improvementsSupport trials, process development, and equipment enhancementsMaintain and improve preventative maintenance programsDrive continuous improvement initiatives and implement manufacturing systems/processesProvide technical guidance and mentorship to process techniciansEnsure adherence to safety and housekeeping standardsRequirementsDiploma or degree in Engineering (Technologist/Technician)35 years of experience in automotive manufacturing (preferred)Strong understanding of moulding processes and industrial equipmentMechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilityExperience with process control and continuous improvement methodologiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentEffective communication skills across technical and operational teams
