With offices in Perth, Brisbane, Toronto, Vancouver, Manila, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania & Cape Town, ECG have the capability to design and deliver on complex projects, from early study work to commissioning and handover, drawing on the expertise of senior ECG personnel who have worked together for 30 + years.We require a Recruitment Advisor to manage and coordinate the recruitment function across the Americas business, while also working international roles.The ECG team is primarily tertiary qualified Electrical Engineers, with HR supporting a white collar workforce and workload. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Recruitment Advisor is a focused recruitment role, working with an established HR and admin team, supporting the engineering function on Canadian and international mining / energy projects. You will also be involved in both sourcing personnel for international projects, and recruiting to bring international applicants into the Canadian offices. The ideal applicant will have solid experience in specialized technical recruitment, and demonstrated ability to pick up the phone and make the calls. Key functions of the role.Manage end-to-end recruitment for white-collar engineering + project services / project delivery + construction rolesBuild and develop strong candidate / client relationships across CanadaManage the full recruitment lifecycle from job brief to offer / inductionSell the ECG success story to the marketWork closely with the ECG team to grow the business via the talent you hireMaintain and build ECGs recruitment database (Jobadder)Drive the employee referral program, reward colleagues for initiative About you; to be considered for this opportunity you will be able to demonstrate: Resource sector / technical recruitment experience in agency At least 2 years experience in a generalist recruitment role, preferably with some experience within the mining, resources or manufacturing sectorStrong communication skills (oral and written) and the confidence to work with all business levelsStrong phone / persuasion skillsEffective problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills and hands on can-do attitude,Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure with conflicting priorities,Experience managing a technically focused recruitment database (Ideally Jobadder)Able to work as part of a team and build inter-team effectivenessInitiative, ownership, integrity and confidence.
