You will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and government stakeholders to ensure security requirements are tracked, documented, and executed accurately.This role is ideal for someone currently working in administration, operations, or compliance support who is looking to build a longterm career in industrial or government security.What Youll Be DoingSecurity Administration & CoordinationSupport compliance with the Canadian Contracts Security Program (CSP) and Controlled Goods Program (CGP)Assist in the preparation and maintenance of Project Security PlansTrack and document government security approvals related to:Physical securityIT systemsDocument safeguardingClassified processingMaintain logs, trackers, and records to ensure approvals and clearances are currentHighVolume Operational SupportAdminister Requests for Visit (RFVs) for internal and external visitorsTrack visitor access requirements (physical access, IT access, site visits)Coordinate the storage, tracking, and delivery of classified or sensitive documentationSupport clearance tracking to ensure personnel are appropriately authorized for their roleProject & Stakeholder SupportAttend internal meetings and project reviews to stay aligned with evolving security needsSupport bid and proposal activities from a documentation and compliance perspectiveEscalate risks, delays, or missing approvals to senior security staffLiaise with internal departments to gather required information and documentationInspections, Audits & TrainingAssist with government security inspections (physical security, document safeguarding, CGP)Support internal audits by gathering documentation and evidenceHelp deliver security awareness and compliance training to employeesMaintain resource lists and audit trails for compliance purposesGrowth & DevelopmentLearn and apply government security regulations and best practicesSupport continuous improvement of tools, templates, and tracking processesAct as Alternate Company Security Officer (ACSO) when required, with supportProvide afterhours/oncall support as neededRequired Experience & Skills02 years of experience in an administrative, coordinator, or support roleExperience working in a highvolume, deadlinedriven environmentExposure to regulated or compliancebased work (security, government, HR, operations, finance, etc.)Professional or conversational fluency in FrenchEligibility to obtain CGP and Reliability ClearanceCompensation:$25/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D.
