This is a stable, growth-focused operation where employees are supported, safety is prioritized, and long-term careers are built.About the RoleAs a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a key role in supporting overall equipment reliability and production uptime within a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. This includes performing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of plant equipment, with a strong focus on minimizing downtime and improving overall equipment performance.You will also be actively involved in continuous improvement initiatives, supporting capital and CI projects across the facility. The role includes working with large transfer presses ranging from 65 to 1500 tons, as well as supporting a state-of-the-art automated rejection system and other advanced robotic and automation equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment in accordance with scheduled maintenance programsRespond to reactive maintenance issues and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical failures to restore equipment uptime quicklySupport continuous improvement (CI) initiatives and assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and capital projectsWork with large transfer presses (651500 ton) and automated systems including robotic and rejection systemsAccurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage within maintenance tracking systemsQualificationsValid Industrial Electrician License (442A) through Skilled Trades Ontario (mandatory)5+ years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role; preference to candidates with automotive manufacturing experience, more specifically stampingStrong automotive manufacturing experience, specifically with robotics, automation, and welding systemsProven ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, read technical drawings, and use diagnostic tools (multimeter, micrometers, etc.)Location: Hamilton, ONCompensation: $42$44/hour + Pension Shift: Straight Days (6:00am-2:00pm) If you are interested in learning more about the Electrician job opportunity please submit your updated resume to We are recruitment industry leaders committed to quality service, integrity, respect and equal opportunity.
