Venor is proud to partner with L&A Metalworks Inc. in their search for a Project Manager to join their team in Fredericton.Located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, L&A Metalworks Inc. is a trusted metal fabricator serving a select group of OEMs that supply critical infrastructure to industrial clientsincluding oil refineries and power-generating plants. With a reputation for precision and reliability, L&A manufactures complex, made-to-print process systems designed for gas flow diversion and pollution extraction.This is an ideal opportunity for an up-and-coming Project Manager with an engineering background who is looking to take the next step in their career. What youll be doing:Support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction and steel-related projectsWork closely with senior leadership and the current Project Manager to learn established processes and best practicesManage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project completionCoordinate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliersMonitor project progress and proactively address risks or challengesAssist with project documentation, reporting, and schedulingEnsure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standardsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancementsWhat we are looking for:510 years of experience in construction, steel, or a related industryEngineering background considered a strong assetDemonstrated experience supporting or leading projects in an industrial or construction environmentStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively while also taking ownership of responsibilitiesMotivated to learn from senior leadership and grow into a long-term leadership roleStrong attention to detail and problem-solving mindsetCollaborative team environment with opportunities to grow and develop professionally At Venor and L&A Metal Works, we embrace a culture of belonging in the workplace.
