Join a vital role as a Psychologist within forensic psychiatry. Provide essential psychological evaluations and treatments for individuals facing mental health challenges in the legal system, working part-time in a collaborative team. In this position, you will conduct psychological assessments for court-related matters and deliver group and individual therapies, utilizing evidence-based techniques such as CBT and DBT. Additionally, you will contribute to the ongoing development of the Forensic Psychiatry Program while working within a skilled team of professionals. Teaching, consulting, and maintaining high ethical standards will be fundamental to your work. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological evaluations for court assessments Deliver individual and group evidence-based therapies Collaborate within an interdisciplinary clinical team Supervise practicum students and offer clinical guidance Uphold ethical and safety standards in clinical practice Requirements: Completed Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from accredited program Registration or eligibility with College of Psychologists in Ontario 2-3 years post-PhD clinical experience advantageous Strong background in psychological rehabilitation principles Effective communication and teamwork skills Contribute to transformative mental health care by leveraging your skills in a committed forensic environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
