What will you do: As a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, you will: Energy Audits, Modelling & Technical Analysis Conduct ASHRAElevel energy audits, studies, and workshops. Codesign energy and emissions reduction strategies using advanced modelling tools (whole building energy modelling, NECB/ASHRAE 90.1 modelling, parametric modelling, daylight simulations, and embodied carbon analysis). Model netzero buildings and develop clientfocused decarbonization strategies. Perform highlevel portfolio energy analysis using energy planning tools. Design Review & Project Support Review mechanical, electrical, and architectural drawings against netzero and highperformance goals. Provide clear technical recommendations and present results to clients and internal teams. Support sustainability strategies and submissions for green building certifications. Contribute to resiliency, energy planning, and highperformance community initiatives. Collaboration & Leadership Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams; lead others as needed. Conduct research and deliver datadriven insights for both internal and clientfacing projects. Support continuous improvement of our consulting tools, strategies, and methodologies. What will make you successful: 5+ years conducting ASHRAElevel energy audits, energy modelling, or sustainability consulting. Bachelors degree in mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering, or related field. Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, lighting, controls, envelope, etc.). Handson experience with energy modelling tools such as: RETScreen Expert Carrier HAP Trane TRACE 3D+ eQUEST EnergyPlus Familiarity with IECC, ASHRAE standards, and energy modelling protocols. Ability to perform HVAC load calculations and lifecycle cost analysis. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to travel up to 25% within the GTA and occasionally across Canada. NicetoHaves Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation. CEM, CMVP, or CBCP certification. Experience with: Building Automation Systems NetZero design practices IPMVP Measurement & Verification Energy bill validation and netzero planning tools What's in it for you: The compensation range for this fulltime position, which includes base pay and shortterm incentive, is $114,750-$162,000 for candidates who are Ontario residents. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by performance, knowledge, jobrelated skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
