Your Impact Own the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, documentation, probation tracking, and exit processes Coordinate biweekly payroll and related programs, including reimbursements, benefits, RRSP, and EOR administration Ensure accuracy and integrity of HRIS data, maintaining reliable and uptodate employee records Manage employee inquiries through AskHR, maintain auditready documentation, and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and resolve recurring issues Support peoplerelated matters as needed, including documentation and providing guidance to managers, while maintaining confidentiality and escalating more complex situations where appropriate Support employee experience programs, including engagement surveys, onboarding checkins, policy tracking, and recognition initiatives Partner with the Workplace Coordinator to deliver engaging, peoplefocused events and culture initiatives Coordinate global mobility processes, including immigration with external counsel, and ensure compliance with work authorization requirements and documentation Role Requirements 3+ years of progressive HR experience Strong foundation in HR operations (HRIS, payroll, benefits, compliance) Experience working through peoplerelated matters within an HR context Solid understanding of employment standards CPHR (or working toward it) is an asset Demonstrates reliability and consistently delivers highquality work with strong followthrough Exercises sound judgement in peoplerelated situations and provides clear, wellreasoned recommendations Handles sensitive matters with discretion, professionalism, and care Communicates clearly and thoughtfully, including in complex or challenging situations Takes ownership of outcomes and proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes What We Offer Hybrid work environment (2 inoffice days per week) 4 weeks of annual vacation & paid time off for office holiday closure RRSP matching $2,000 annual health & lifestyle spending account $1,000 annual education budget $1,000 annual charitable donation matching Comprehensive benefits: extended health, critical illness, longterm disability & life insurance Companyissued MacBook & home office budget Anniversary rewards & complimentary Pixieset premium account Teambuilding activities & companywide events A workplace recognized for excellence Were proudly certified as a Great Place to Work, ranked #2 among Canadas Top Employers, and named one of Canadas Top Small & Medium Employers This is an 18 to 22month contract, with a strong possibility of extension.
