A leading Pharmaceutical company is looking for Production Technicians to join their growing team.Working location: Etobicoke, ONFull-time, permanent role8 hours biweekly rotating shiftJob ResponsibilitiesPerform all duties according to the SODs, GMPs and all other established safety standards and company policiesCorrectly complete all documentation as per SODs, GDP and GMP requirements, i.e., observations, test results, batch record information, etc.Access company intranet for the purpose of locating and utilizing relevant SODs, MSDSs, company policies and proceduresNotify Coordinator in the event of a departure from procedure, product defect, safety incident or other serious problemExecute line clearance and cleaning verification activities as per SODs and established standard workDismantle, clean, sanitize and assemble manufacturing equipment according to established SODs to ensure GMP compliance and meet department changeover targets in support of department and productivity goalsSafely operate all required equipment and machinery including those used to manufacture, store, clean and transport production related assetsConduct in-process testing required in the manufacturing of productExecute applicable SAP and LIMS transactions accurately and in a timely mannerEffectively process batches within specifications to meet department batch execution targets by ensuring optimal run rates in support of schedule adherenceComplete master batch records and associated production documentation accurately and timelyEnsure the proper selection, care and use of tools, parts and equipment while performing all job related dutiesUnderstand cycle time concepts and sources of unreliability to focus on critical areas of improvementSupport LEAN initiatives and participate in Kaizen eventsPerform the CPC or LT responsibilities as requiredOperate computerized control panel/Human Machine Interface (HMI) to monitor the processControl process start up and shut downIssue maintenance notifications and prepare equipment for maintenance work ordersAll other relevant duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Minimum secondary school diploma or recognized equivalentAbility to lift 20 kgs. on a regular basisAbility to wear Personal Protective Equipment and Respiratory Protection responsiblyWorking knowledge of Windows Operating SystemWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)Results and customer service oriented, pursues work with energy and driveAbility to function in a fast paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesSelf-Managed team player with a positive attitude exhibiting cooperation, communication, flexibility and initiative to acquire functional skillsPrevious manufacturing experience within Food/Pharmaceutical Industry is an assetHow to Apply:Please send your resume to with the subject 'Production Technician'-------------------------------We are an equal opportunity employer.
