This role requires a solid background in heavy civil construction, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate crews while following project direction. Proven experience coordinating and delegating to field teams is essential, with industry knowledge supporting successful project execution and on-time deliverables.ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate heavy civil construction activities from mobilization through completionDirect daily site activities and make informed field decisionsDevelop, maintain, and manage project schedulesEngage, motivate, and effectively delegate work to field crewsActively participate in coordination meetings with project stakeholders and managementDemonstrate strong proficiency with site documentation and regulatory compliance requirementsOperate a wide range of earthmoving equipmentAnticipate and mitigate risks related to safety, environmental, and project performanceResolve challenges efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environmentEnsure all site activities comply with Provincial safety and environmental regulationsRequired Qualifications & SkillsMinimum of 5 years of progressive experience in heavy civil construction, preferably in a superintendent or senior field leadership roleWilling and able to work shift schedules and travel to, or reside at, remote job sitesValid Class 5 drivers licenceAbility to communicate and collaborate professionally with supervisors, crews, and project stakeholdersStrong leadership and crew coordination skills in active construction environmentsSolid understanding of heavy equipment operations, sequencing, and site logisticsWorking knowledge of Provincial safety, environmental, and quality control regulations and requirementsAbility to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedulesStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in the fieldPlease note: This position is strictly located on remote job sites throughout BC. #J-18808-Ljbffr
