Our team is dedicated to driving positive environmental, social, and governance outcomes for our clients.Giero Consulting is led by a team of CPA, CAs and it also performs business advisory services such as Canadian personal and corporate income tax preparation, payroll management, business valuations and contract reviews.Role DescriptionThis is a fully remote contract-based role for a Sustainability Analyst. The ideal candidate is a bright, motivated and reliable individual who has recently entered the work force in the Sustainability space and wants to learn in a hands-on role.The Sustainability Analyst will be responsible for helping to prepare technical calculations within Microsoft Excel related to GHG emissions and avoided GHG emissions, assisting with GHG-related audit preparation and inquiries, conducting research on global sustainability disclosure requirements, assisting in client management, and supporting corporate sustainability initiatives.QualificationsA motivated, accountable individual who is decisive, able to overcome challenges, and always willing to learn new thingsKnowledge of Greenhouse Gas Accounting and calculations is requiredStrong Analytical Skills and Data Analysis capabilities: Detail-oriented with the ability to interpret complex data setsHighly adaptive to changes in situations, information, or directionAwareness of Corporate Sustainability and Sustainability ReportingProficiency with sustainability frameworks and regulationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, Accounting, or related fieldWilling to work on a contract billing basis for at least the first 3 monthsWhat We Can Offer YouFully remote role where you set your own working hoursPart-time to full-time availabilityYou will be working with a variety of clients across the globe as well as many industries and have deep exposure into client work.Pay Range$25 - $40 per hour depending on candidate skills and experience.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeContractJob functionOtherIndustriesBusiness Consulting and Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
