With over 60 years in operation and more than 4,000 employees worldwide, they combine modern manufacturing, strong product design and a culture of continuous improvement.Overall Function:As Plant Manager, you will own endtoend operations for a busy casegoods furniture plant, leading a team of approximately 90 people across production, support and leadership roles. Youll be accountable for plant KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory, OnTime Delivery) and will champion LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.Reports to: Vice President & General ManagerKey Responsibilities:Lead all daytoday plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient production that meets quality and delivery targets.Work closely with Production and Department Managers to plan, schedule and execute production using LEAN manufacturing principles.Own the plant budget, controlling labour, materials and operating costs while supporting longterm capital and equipment planning.Drive safety culture, preventative maintenance and plant housekeeping standards.Implement and sustain CI tools and methodologies (SQDCI, TPS, OTD) to reduce lead time, defects and waste.Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain and other internal divisions to support new product introductions and reliable supply.Build, coach and develop the leadership team and broader workforce, creating a highperformance and accountable culture.Skills & Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in casegoods furniture, kitchen cabinetry, automotive parts, CNC machining or similar discrete manufacturing.Strong track record leading a plant or major production area with full responsibility for safety, quality, delivery and cost.Handson experience with LEAN, CI and KPIdriven management (e.g., SQDCI, TPS, OTD).Solid understanding of CNC machining, assembly processes and quality control systems.Experience with MES and ERPhosted production systems.Proven leadership skills: able to coach managers, build engagement and drive change on the shop floor.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with corporate stakeholders, peers and frontline teams.
