The OpportunityEstablished in 1988, Community Resource Service (CRS) is a cornerstone of support for the Brantford, Brant, and Six Nations communities. Delivering vital assistance through its two primary pillarsthe Brantford Food Bank and Community Employment ServiceCRS meets the evolving needs of a region experiencing unprecedented growth. While the communitys expansion is driven by rapid residential development and proximity to the GTA, the needs for local support is increasing and significant: CRS serves approximately 10,000 individuals annually, reaching 1 in 10 members of our community.With the upcoming retirement of the Executive Director, the Board of Directors is seeking a dynamic, mission driven Executive Director to lead the organization and advance CRSs vision for stronger, more equitable communities.As the senior leader of Community Resource Service, the Executive Director is responsible for overseeing all program development, administration, operations, finances, fundraising, community relations, and human resources, while supervising key leaders and providing HR oversight for all 14 staff. The Executive Director stewards a $2.2 million annual operating budget and ensures long term organizational sustainability, accountability, and impact.This is a meaningful opportunity for a collaborative, purpose-driven leader to become a champion for our neighbours navigating income-related challenges.
