Airport Operations Coordinator (HR & Floor Leadership Focus) $65,000/YR Location:MontralTrudeau Airport (YUL) Company:RYU Group Reports to:Director of Operations Full-Time | On-Site | Floor-Based Role RYU Group operates multiple high-volume food and beverage locations inside MontralTrudeau Airport. We are building one of the strongest airport hospitality operations in Canada. This role is critical to that mission. We are not looking for an administrator. We are hiring ahands-on operatorwho will live on the floor, enforce standards, support hiring, and elevate team performance across multiple locations. If you are organized but passive, this is not the role. If you hold people accountable, move fast, and care about details most people ignore, keep reading. What This Role Actually Is You are thelink between HR, operations, and the floor. You helphire, onboard, and stabilize teams Youtrain and reinforce standards daily Youwalk the floor constantlyand fix issues in real time You ensure every location looks sharp, clean, and fully stocked You support managers but alsochallenge them when standards slip This is apressure role. You will be in fast-paced environments, dealing with real operational issues every day. Core ResponsibilitiesPeople & Hiring (HR Execution) Support hiring, interviews, and onboarding Ensure new hires are properly trained and integrated Reinforce policies, expectations, and accountability daily Act as ago-to resource for staff on the floor Training & Standards Train teams on service, cleanliness, and daily procedures Identify weak performers and gaps in execution Ensure standards are consistent across all locations Follow up. Not once. Until its fixed. Floor Operations Be physically present across locations daily Spot problems before managers do Step in and solve issues immediately Support service during peak periods when needed Cleanliness, Merchandising & Presentation Own the look of the operation Fridges, counters, displays, uniforms, cleanliness. Everything.
