3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Role Overview The ServiceNow SAM Developer is responsible for designing, configuring, and enhancing Software Asset Management (SAM) capabilities within the ServiceNow platform. This role focuses on translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions that automate and optimize the software asset lifecycle, from discovery and normalization through reconciliation and compliance reporting. Job Title: ServiceNow SAM Developer Location: Remote in Canada Job Type: Contract Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and enhance ServiceNow SAM (SAM Pro) modules and functionality Translate business and compliance requirements into scalable ServiceNow technical solutions Configure and customize software discovery, normalization, and reconciliation processes Implement workflows and automation to support the endtoend software asset lifecycle Integrate ServiceNow SAM with discovery tools, CMDB, and thirdparty systems Develop and maintain compliance, license consumption, and optimization reports Troubleshoot and resolve SAMrelated issues, including data discrepancies and reconciliation errors Collaborate with asset managers, IT operations, procurement, and compliance teams Maintain technical documentation, configurations, and best practices Support testing, deployment, and postproduction enhancements Required Skills & Qualifications Strong handson experience with ServiceNow SAM / SAM Pro Solid understanding of software asset lifecycle management, licensing models, and compliance Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and reconciliation Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies) Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions Strong analytical and problemsolving skills Preferred Skills Experience integrating ServiceNow with procurement, contract, or ERP systems Familiarity with ITAM, HAM, or CMDB best practices Experience with ServiceNow reporting and dashboards ServiceNow certifications (CSA, SAM Pro) are a plus Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Engineering and Information Technology #J-18808-Ljbffr
