We provide trade execution, clearing, custody and backoffice support services to Canadianbased brokerage firms and registered Portfolio Managers. This role will be part of the technology team tasked with developing businesscritical technology solutions designed to automate manual processes. What You Will Do Develop, enhance, modify, and maintain software solutions for internal and external clients with a focus on automating business processes. Provide solution architecture, document design, code, develop program logic for new applications, analyze and modify logic in existing applications and ensure system improvements, particularly those related to process automation, are implemented. Ensure functional specifications can be implemented technically while developing and innovating commercial technology assets to meet objectives. Implement Agile and DevOps best practices for development to deliver quality products predictably and consistently. Develop unit tests to ensure highquality code and be accountable for the quality of the product delivered. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Liaise with internal user groups as needed to effectively program applications based on business and system requirements. What We Are Looking For 5+ years of experience in web development, objectoriented analysis and design, and serviceoriented architecture. Experience designing and developing webbased platforms to automate business processes. Strong knowledge of modern automation architecture, technologies, and processes. Experience with automation platforms (Appian, RPA or similar). Handson experience with Angular (TypeScript), JavaScript, Java, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, Spring Boot and microservices. Knowledge of SQL and database platforms such as Oracle and SQL Server. Experience using Agile project management tools (JIRA, Confluence) and automated delivery pipelines CI/CD. Experience developing cloudnative solutions according to industry best practices. Unix/Linux operating system knowledge.
