If youre available and interested in the opportunity, please reach out with your resume and I'd be happy to discuss next steps.Looking forward to hearing from you!Title: Senior DeveloperLocation: RemoteSecurity Clearance: Must hold a valid Canadian Reliability Security ClearanceDescription of Service:Oversee solution design, development, and integration of information and operations systems.Ensure adherence to technical architecture and implement services to meet evolving needs.Provide technical support, guidance, and input on scheduling, planning, and development standards.Coordinate system analysis and app development with direct and indirect teams.Primary Responsibilities:Work with analysts to deliver bug fixes, enhancements, and new features to in-house software.Translate business needs into technical solutions using best practices and coding standards.Ensure secure, standards-compliant development, including source control and deployment processes.Perform unit testing and support automated test frameworks; collaborate with QA teams.Define security/access controls across environments.Lead or assist with application deployments using DevSecOps practices.Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements.Support production go-live and perform knowledge transfer to support teams.Collaborate on Level 3 support for incident and problem resolution.Specific Project Requirements:SQL ServerAzureDevOps or JiraSkills:7+ years building APIs and web apps with C# (.NET Core)5+ years working with SQL Server and EF Core3+ years developing SPAs using Angular v4+ and Bootstrap v4/v57+ years in IT systems development and full agile lifecycleFull-stack experience across front-end, back-end, and databasesExperience or training in Microsoft Azure cloud servicesAssets:Experience with system integration of the following platform: Salesforce, ServiceNow, DenodoExperience working with 3rd party vendors and integrating applications.Experience in an Insurance or Financial Services environment.Experience working as part of an Agile team with Business Subject Matter Expert, Business Analyst, Solution Architect, Tester, Scrum Master, Product Owner.Ability to operate under structured release management frameworks, including the need for various environments, system maintenance, risk avoidance, etc.Must be business results oriented. Strong ability to translate business questions and requirements into technical solutionsStrong analytical ability with demonstrated application of technical problem solving and analytical tools and techniques.
