Manufacturing Engineering Applications Specialist Job ID: 4789 Location: Barrie, ON, CA Date: Apr 22, 2026 The Manufacturing Engineering Applications Specialist at Prodomax Automation Ltd. will provide process and manufacturing expertise, support ongoing efforts to secure new business opportunities, and provide clients with bestinclass manufacturing solutions. The position works collaboratively within the Sales Team and reports directly to the Director of Sales. Key Responsibilities Interpret and analyze incoming customer information, system layouts, cycletime chart preparation, and schedule development. Support the sales teams by interfacing directly with internal and external customers. Build strong relationships with stakeholders across all functions and levels. Demonstrate understanding of relevant manufacturing processes, technology, cycle times, and equipment integration costs. Lead concept development, cost estimating, documentation of proposals, process FMEA, risk analysis, and technical presentations for small to medium projects. Accountable for the quality and timeliness of work results and obligations to customers. Coordinate with colleagues and suppliers to develop costeffective and reliable process solutions. Use consultative solution development expertise to align the client''s business needs with solutions. Qualifications, Skills and Abilities College/University degree or diploma in an engineering discipline preferred, or equivalent industry experience. Minimum 35 years direct experience in manufacturing and process development (e.g., assembly processes) and/or automation control systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and AutoCAD. Ability to read CAD files and working knowledge of GD&T. Experience with SolidWorks is an asset.
