Job Type Term Position (June to August 2026) Hours of Work 40 hours per week (may include evenings and weekends) Responsibilities The Camp Counselor is responsible for leading and supervising safe, inclusive, and engaging recreational activities for children and youth participating in the summer camp program. Counselors play a key role in creating a positive camp experience while ensuring participant safety and wellbeing at all times. The Counselor will respond appropriately to incidents, conflicts, or emergencies and also assist with set-up, cleanup, and organization of program space. The Counselor will communicate effectively with the Camp Coordinator, team members, and participants. Qualifications & Requirements Experience working with children or youth in a recreational, educational, or community setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Reliability and strong organizational skills Ability to lead activities and engage participants of varying ages and abilities Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Clear Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check Application Process Applications accepted until filled. #J-18808-Ljbffr
