Transform lives as a Home Peritoneal Dialysis Nurse. This position emphasizes training and educating patients and families for successful management of at-home dialysis treatments. You will be an essential part of the Chronic Kidney Disease team, focusing on empowering patients to take charge of their hemodialysis procedures at home. Your role will not only involve clinical care but also the critical task of educating families about the dialysis process. Experience in Hemodialysis is a prerequisite for applicants. Key Responsibilities: Educate patients and families on home dialysis techniques Collaborate with CKD team for individualized care strategies Manage dialysis machines for effective treatment Provide daily assessments and ongoing support Facilitate a supportive learning atmosphere for patients Requirements: Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario BCLS certification needed for this role Minimum of 5 years in Nephrology nursing necessary CNA Certification in Nephrology preferred Strong interpersonal skills required Support patients in achieving independence in their dialysis care through education and hands-on support. #J-18808-Ljbffr
