Job Title:Manager, Vendor Partner (Taxi & Stretcher Network)Location:Pickering, OntarioEmployment Type:Full-Time In office/35% travel requiredReports To:Chief Operations Officer (COO)About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager, Vendor Partner to oversee and optimize our network of outsourced transportation partners, with a strong focus on taxi and stretcher (non-emergency medical transportation) providers.In this role, you will ensure vendors consistently deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality transportation services while meeting contractual, regulatory, and performance expectations. You will play a key role in strengthening vendor partnerships, improving service outcomes, and supporting efficient, patient- and customer-centered operations.What Youll DoVendor & Performance ManagementManage day-to-day relationships with outsourced taxi, stretcher and other outsource transportation vendorsEstablish, monitor, and enforce service level agreements (SLAs), KPIs, and quality standardsConduct vendor performance reviews, audits, and scorecardsAddress service issues, escalations, and corrective action plansContract, Cost & Operational OversightSupport vendor onboarding, contract renewals, and negotiations in collaboration with internal partnersReview and validate vendor invoices; investigate discrepancies and cost trendsIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and cost effectivenessCompliance, Safety & RiskEnsure vendors meet all licensing, insurance, regulatory, and safety requirementsOversee compliance with stretcher transport, patient handling, and accessibility standardsSupport incident investigations and follow-up actions related to safety or service concernsCollaboration & Continuous ImprovementPartner closely with Operations and Accounting departmentsSupport capacity planning to meet service demand, including peak periodsContribute to process improvements, vendor best practices, and standardization initiativesReporting & InsightsPrepare regular performance, compliance, and cost reports for leadershipAnalyze trends in on-time performance, cancellations, complaints, and vendor utilizationWhat Were Looking ForBachelors degree in Business, Operations, Transportation, or a related field (or equivalent experience)3-5 years of experience in vendor management, transportation operations, or outsourced servicesProven experience managing service providers in regulated or compliance-driven environmentsStrong contract, performance management, and analytical skillExperience working with stretcher or non-emergency medical transportation providersKnowledge of transportation regulations and accessibility standardsExperience managing multiple vendors across different service areasWhy Join Us?Opportunity to shape the future of a growing organizationCollaborative and innovative work environmentCompetitive annual salary (range: $60,000.00-$85,000.00)Thank you to all who apply; however only candidates selected for interview will be contacted.We adhere to the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) to ensure fair treatment for every candidate.
