This role plays a critical part in evaluating the financial and operational viability of network investments by analyzing site performance, market trends, and economic outcomes.As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with senior stakeholders and crossfunctional teams to translate complex data into clear insights that support profitable growth and informed decisionmaking.Location: Calgary, AB (SE)Shift: Monday to Friday | 8h/day | 40hrs/weekJob type: Temporary | Full-time | 12-month contractHere's why you should apply:Paid weekly accurate and on timeStrong health and safety programsMedical and dental benefits once qualifiedFree training programsNew and quicker onboarding processResponsibilities:Analyze site performance, market trends, and competitive dynamics to assess the longterm profitability of proposed network investmentsConduct detailed economic evaluations including NPV, IRR, and payback analysis for capital and sustaining projectsDevelop financial models and business cases to support strategic decisionmakingSynthesize large data sets into clear insights and actionable recommendations for senior leadershipCollaborate with crossfunctional partners including Planning, Finance, Operations, and Strategy teamsSupport ongoing network optimization initiatives through datadriven analysis and performance trackingPrepare highquality presentations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings effectivelyQualifications and Skills:Minimum 3+ years of experience in Planning, Project Planning, Economic Analysis, or a related roleExperience within retail or downstream environments is strongly preferredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BIStrong analytical and economic modelling capabilitiesProven ability to translate complex data into concise, meaningful insightsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholdersStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including working without direct authority23 years of corporate experience with demonstrated proficiency using the Microsoft 365 suiteExperience within the Oil & Gas industry, preferably downstreamExposure to largescale network planning or investment portfoliosMust be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAre you interested in this position?
