Were excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Master Scheduler. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced planning and scheduling professional to join a manufacturing organization in the Woodstock region. The Master Scheduler will play a key role in aligning customer demand, production capacity, material availability, and operational priorities to support on-time delivery and efficient plant performance.Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Develop, maintain, and manage the master production schedule to support customer demand, inventory targets, and production capacity.Review customer orders, forecasts, production requirements, and material availability to create realistic scheduling plans.Work closely with production, supply chain, purchasing, materials, customer service, and operations teams to ensure schedule alignment.Monitor schedule performance and adjust plans as needed based on changing priorities, shortages, capacity constraints, or customer requirements.Identify potential risks to delivery timelines and proactively communicate issues to internal stakeholders.Analyze production capacity, labour availability, lead times, and inventory levels to support effective planning decisions.Support continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling accuracy, inventory management, lead time reduction, and overall operational efficiency.Maintain accurate data within ERP/MRP systems, including production schedules, work orders, item planning parameters, and related planning information.Participate in production meetings and provide updates on schedule status, constraints, and upcoming priorities.Mandatory Requirements:5+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, materials planning, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and production scheduling processes.Experience working with customer demand, forecasts, capacity planning, inventory levels, and material availability.Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with production, supply chain, operations, and customer-facing teams.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related planning/reporting tools.Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000If you are interested in learning more about the Master Scheduler job opportunity, please submit your updated resume to We are recruitment industry leaders committed to quality service, integrity, respect and equal opportunity.
