Finance Operations Lead - Cash & Performance Closing Date: Well start reviewing applications as they come in, and keep this posting open until we find our next great teammate. The Role Reporting to the CEO and working alongside external finance support, this role owns the daytoday financial operations of the business, including cash visibility, reporting discipline, process improvement, and crossfunctional financial support. You will bring structure, discipline, and visibility to the finance function. You will protect cash, improve accuracy, tighten processes, and turn numbers into clear business insight. This role is hands on, high trust, and high impact. What Youll Own Cash Management and Forecasting Monitor cash closely and help ensure the business stays ahead of risks Improve a 13 week rolling cash forecast Support financial prioritization decisions with sound judgment Surface risks early, helping leadership avoid surprises Financial Operations and Control Execute biweekly payroll Own monthend with internal financial reporting Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and core accounting accuracy Ensure all financial information is timely, organized, and reliable Maintain discipline in processes, controls, and execution Reporting, Insight, and Business Support Turn financial results into useful insights, not just reports Identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities as early as possible Support budgeting, forecasting, and business performance reviews Partner with Operations, Sales, and Marketing to improve business performance and visibility Process Improvement and Scale Use your experience to improve systems, workflows, and reporting processes Reduce manual work and strengthen financial controlsHelp Righteous scale our finance function in a way that doesnt create unnecessary complexity Look for useful ways to use technology, automation, and AI to improve speed, accuracy, and clarity What Success Looks Like Cash is accurate, visible, controlled, and proactively managed Monthend reporting is accurate, timely, and with key insights SLT can trust the numbers for leverage Finance helps improve performance, doesnt just report on it Processes become tighter, simpler, and more scalable over time Who You Are You like the impact you can have in lean environments, take ownership, and bring strong judgment, composure, and execution in your work and life. What You Bring Experience Strong background in accounting and financial operations Experience managing cash flow and forecasting Experience in a small or midsize business where you had to be handson Experience in manufacturing, inventorybased businesses, or CPG is a strong asset Systems Experience with Xero, DEAR (CIn7) is preferred. Experience with Rippling, Dext, Plooto, Google Workspace, and SPS are assets.
