Senior Financial Analyst Are you our next Senior Financial Analyst? The Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the companys financial reporting. This role supports monthend and quarterend close through the preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis, with a strong focus on lease accounting. Status: Contract, Full-Time (12 months) Guaranteed 37.5 hours a week Shift: Days, 9:00 am 5:00 pm; Monday Friday Location: 115 Midair Court, Brampton, ON L6T 5V1 Discipline: Finance Work Style: Hybrid Vacancy Type: Existing Number of position: 1 Start Date: As soon as possible Internal Posting Deadline: April 30, 2026 Why Dynacare is an amazing place for YOU: Join an award-winning ''Top Employer'' with meaningful and impactful career opportunities Access a health and wellness benefits program that supports you and your loved ones Grow and thrive with a dynamic, successful company through internal mobility opportunities Invest in your future through RRSP match benefits and an employee stock purchase program Experience a collaborative, diverse workforce that prioritizes dignity and respect for al How YOU will make a difference: Financial Close Process Prepare accurate and timely accounting entries to support the financial close process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies Review accounting transactions related to real estate and vehicle lease arrangements (ROU assets and liabilities) and perform monthly variance analysis against budget Work closely with the Real Estate and Vehicle teams to process rent payments and provide financial support and guidance as required Perform balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts (e.g., ROU assets and liabilities, accrued fringe benefits, and other liability accounts), investigating variances and proactively resolving issues Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and control within financial workflows Support the preparation of financial statements, variance analysis, and management reporting packages and board report packages Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (Accounting, FP&A, Operations, Supply Chain) to gather data, validate assumptions, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decisionmaking and operational performance improvement Tax and Audit Participate in internal and external audit activities, including preparing audit support, responding to auditor inquiries, and ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation Assist with the preparation of working papers for corporate tax compliance, including completion of payment requisitions and tax instalments Ensure ongoing compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and corporate policies Other Conduct research on accounting standards, tax related topics and technical accounting issues; assess appropriate treatment under US GAAP and communicate implications and recommendations to the Finance team Prepare monthly accounting, indirect tax filings, and financial statements for subsidiaries of the parent company Prepare all quarterly and annual Statistics Canada reporting and filings Support adhoc financial analysis, special projects, and strategic initiatives as assigned by senior leadership Ensure the Manager is informed of significant accounting matters, risks, and issues in a timely and transparent manner What YOU bring to the role: Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required Enrolment in the CPA program required; CPA designation or demonstrated progress toward designation strongly preferred Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles; experience working with US GAAP considered an asset Minimum of 34 years of progressive accounting experience, gained through a public accounting firm (Big 4/Big 6) and/or industry experience Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud software is considered an asset Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to develop, enhance, and optimize reports, processes, and monthend close procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively to nonfinancial stakeholders Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver highquality work under tight deadlines Experience contributing to process improvement, financial systems optimization, or automation initiatives is considered an asset Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, teamoriented environment Technical Skills Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud software is considered an asset Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to develop, enhance, and optimize reports, processes, and monthend close procedures Social Process Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively to nonfinancial stakeholders Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver highquality work under tight deadlines Experience contributing to process improvement, financial systems optimization, or automation initiatives is considered an asset Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, teamoriented environment Pay rate: Pay rate: $62,400 to $78,000 annually The hiring pay range has been established; however, the final pay offer will be determined by taking into consideration various factors including but not limited to, level of experience and education requirements.
