What you will do Our Sous Chefs are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional dining experience to each and every guest. Sous Chefs have a range of responsibilities in the kitchen including strict adherence to health and safety guidelines, maintaining food stock levels throughout the day, and planning and directing the preparation of meals consistent with company standards. In this role, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Understand and effectively follow all Company values, policies, and procedures to protect and enhance the Brand and promote a positive company culture. Manage day-to-day culinary operations and ensure healthy and safe work practices. Support the scheduling of culinary staff in accordance with business demands, trends, and budget in a timely manner. When needed, order inventory and culinary supplies in accordance with stock levels and receive and inspect deliveries when they arrive. Other duties assigned as required. Qualifications This role may be a perfect fit for you if: You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. You have a valid Food Handlers certificate. You have 2-5 years experience in a similar environment. You have knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation and principles of safe food handling and demonstrated ability to lead and direct a team. You have schedule flexibility to work extended hours as required. A professional diploma or food services management is an asset but not required.
