EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Share Email Post Share DEPARTMENT DEPARTMENT: Project Management LOCATION LOCATION: Various throughout the United States JOB NUMBER JOB NUMBER: 2021-AFALLS-01 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES Nationally recognized environmental remediation contractor in need of an experienced and qualified ISS Project Superintendent to staff ISS projects. Extensive travel will be required. Candidates for this position can be based anywhere in the United States. The daily work activities/responsibilities will include: Supervising and coordinating all field construction activities Ensuring the delivery of completed projects in compliance with plans and specifications Determining the equipment and material resources required to execute projects Collaborating with Project Managers to implement and maintain construction schedules Working with field crews to address challenging project issues and site conditions Working with Site Health & Safety (H&S) personnel to implement and enforce H&S practices Contributing to building a workplace culture based on safety, teamwork, and superior performance SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Must have minimum 5 years of experience working on remedial construction projects involving the following work activities: Site Remediation Demolition of Surface/Subsurface Structures MGP Remediation Earthwork Impacted Soil/Material Transportation and Disposal Soil Mixing Jet Grouting Desired, but not required, professional training credentials include: 40 hour Hazardous Waste Training 8 hour supervisor training 8 hour HAZWOPER refresher Scaffold Competent Person SALARY/BENEFITS Salaried position; commensurate with qualifications.
