An established infrastructure operations team is seeking a senior System Administrator to support and evolve a hybrid IT environment spanning on-premises systems and Azure cloud platforms. This role functions as the highest escalation point for complex server and infrastructure incidents while also contributing to modernization projects and roadmap planning. Youll manage Windows Server deployments, administer VMware and HyperV environments, and support Microsoft 365 and Entra ID services within a production setting. This opportunity is well suited to experienced Halifaxbased engineers looking for seniorlevel ownership across a diverse infrastructure footprint. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years supporting Windows Server infrastructure across onpremises and cloudbased deployments Handson administration of VMware and/or HyperV virtualization platforms Experience managing Azure services including Microsoft 365, identity management, and hybrid cloud workloads Desired Skills & Experience Backup, recovery, and business continuity planning within hybrid environments Network troubleshooting across LAN/WAN connectivity and performance scenarios Experience serving as a senior escalation point for Tier1 and Tier2 technical teams Daily Responsibilities HandsOn Engineering: 65% Team Collaboration & CrossFunctional Work: 35% Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis now and in the future.
