Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Reporting Perform & support full-cycle accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll input, and reporting Assist with the monthly financial close including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and inventory adjustments Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation Assist with year-end financial preparation and audits Billing & Project Accounting Support project setup and job costing within company systems Prepare and submit invoices in accordance with contract requirements Monitor accounts receivable, perform bank deposits and assist with collections Track project costs, quantities, and related documentation Perform pit & quarry inventory entries Payroll & Financial Administration Process payroll submissions based on approved timecards Support corporate financial reporting requirements Office Administration Create purchase orders and process invoice documentation Maintain office filing systems and records Provide administrative support to divisional management Requirements Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is considered an asset Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience is considered an asset Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office applications Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards or similar considered an asset Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Compensation $55,000 - $70,000 per year Culture Miller is proud to provide this unique career opportunity, offering continuous learning, opportunities for growth, and a competitive compensation package.
