Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, the post holder will provide guidance and drive execution of logistic service delivery to our customers on time and in full. Monitoring performance and providing general oversight of all material flows in the branch - incoming, outgoing and all material flows within the branch. The Logistics Coordinator ensures accuracy of stock levels and proper handling of all material flows within the system as well as physically. Supervising warehousing staff providing support and guidance to enable a first class service. Accountable for the trouble free reception and delivery of all goods entering & leaving the facility. Responsible for accurate process compliance in the system environment. Responsible for inventory accuracy for FG, RM and WIP stock and cycle counting process. Accountable for trouble free line supply of manufacturing with all needed materials (RM, packaging) Responsible to monitor and develop assigned resources to ensure continuous achievement of relevant targets. Responsible the continuous improvement of all material handling processes with the support of lean manufacturing tools. Leading a Safety first approach maintaining a zero accident culture. Ensures and monitors work, accident prevention and safe working environment across the business. Fulfil assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/backup roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business. Engineering of the logistic network within a region to optimize costs and meet or exceed service levels. Responsible for the process focused on the delivery/shipping of material and finished products throughout the endtosupply chain. Commercial and executional management of relationships with external providers. Responsible for ensuring compliance to the global logistical process (receiving, warehouse, shipping). Responsible for suggesting modifications to the process to comply with changes to local regulations/business practice The ability to establish clear directions; sets stretching objectives; distributes the workload appropriately; lays out work in a wellplanned and organized manner; maintains twoway dialogue with others on work and results; brings out the best in people; is a clear communicator Undertake any reasonable additional responsibilities deemed within your competency at the request of your line manager. Educational requirements, Certifications College Degree, Certificate as Logistics Supervisor from an acknowledged institute Experience Union Shop Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role in the Logistics area Experienced in the implementation of warehousing methods Knowledge, Skills and Ability Knowledge of LEAN methods in Logistics area Knowledge of stock taking methods, cycle counting and organization of these Profound knowledge of ERP systems, root cause analyses of error and definition of countermeasures Very good communication skills with different levels Very good problemsolving and decisionmaking ability Intercultural competence and handson mentality Working knowledge of MS Office Compensation Salary ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 based on experience.
