The Tax Accountant supports Network Innovations'' global tax and compliance function through accurate data gathering, account reconciliation, and coordination with internal teams and external tax partners. We are looking for a curious researcher with a solid financial foundation and sound judgment who excels in a hands-on, coordination-heavy role. This position is ideal for someone experienced in full-cycle processesincluding reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end coordinationwho brings a working understanding of sales and use tax and takes pride in producing accurate, reliable work across various entities and jurisdictions. Duties and responsibilities: Gather, organize, and validate financial and operational data required for tax filings across multiple jurisdictions. Support external tax partners by preparing complete, accurate, and timely information for tax filings. Reconcile tax-related general ledger accounts and investigate variances, unusual balances, and missing information. Prepare and review supporting schedules, journal entries, and account analyses related to tax and compliance matters. Assist with foreign exchange analysis and help ensure tax-related data is accurately reflected across entities and currencies. Track tax and compliance deadlines and coordinate inputs from internal stakeholders to support timely filings. Research tax and compliance questions, summarize findings, and bring forward questions with appropriate context. Work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Legal, IT, and business teams to gather information and resolve issues. Support audit requests, regulatory inquiries, and documentation requirements. Help improve processes, templates, and documentation to build practical procedures and repeatable workflows. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with a solid background in full-cycle accounting. Working knowledge of sales and use tax; experience with multiple entities, FX, or indirect tax is a strong asset. Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple deadlines across various jurisdictions. Comfortable researching unfamiliar issues and identifying inconsistencies to produce reliable work. Standard office hours are 8am to 5pm, however, work outside of regular office hours and occasional travel may be required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and software. Physical Requirements: The ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk while working on a computer or reviewing documents. The ability to use hands to manage and control a keyboard and mouse. The ability to understand and communicate clearly with others through speaking, listening, or writing.
