Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Specialist to support and grow our Environmental Services division. This role is responsible for developing new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and promoting our environmental solutions across a defined territory. The ideal candidate is a proactive selfstarter with strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and a proven track record in B2B sales. Key Responsibilities Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within the environmental services sector Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, property managers, and commercial/industrial stakeholders Conduct inperson meetings, site visits, and presentations to understand client needs and propose tailored solutions Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and service agreements Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure seamless service delivery Manage and grow an existing book of business while consistently generating new leads Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and competitive offerings Represent the company at networking events, industry functions, and client meetings Qualifications 3+ years of experience in outside sales, preferably within environmental services, construction, waste management, or a related industry Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills Excellent interpersonal and relationshipbuilding abilities Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently Valid drivers license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience selling environmental services such as waste management, remediation, or recycling solutions Existing network within construction, property management, or industrial sectors Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards Hunter mentality with strong prospecting skills Time management and organizational skills Strong business acumen Adaptability in a fastpaced environment What We Offer Competitive base salary (70,000 80,000) + uncapped commission structure Vehicle allowance of $500/month Supportive and collaborative team environment The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned in this position.
