Summary Help amplify youth voices and mental health awareness! We''re seeking creative, community-driven volunteers to lead social media, storytelling, and public engagement for our youth-led nonprofit. Location Toronto, Ontario (in-person). Hybrid events and online coordination. Opportunity Type Ongoing - Start anytime. Schedule: 510 hours per week (flexible). About This Opportunity Marketing & Public Engagement Lead (2 positions available). About Live More Live More is a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to empowering Black youthespecially immigrantsthrough creative expression, mental health support, and community building. We host workshops, art-based wellness events, peer support spaces, and other community-centered initiatives that promote healing, culture, and connection. Role Overview As a Marketing & Public Engagement Lead, you will play a key role in shaping how Live More shows up in both digital and community spaces. Youll help amplify our mission through engaging content, meaningful storytelling, and relationshipbuilding with partners and the wider community. Why Volunteer With Us? Share powerful stories and help shape meaningful narratives Build experience in marketing, communications, and public engagement Expand your network through community events and partnerships Strengthen your digital portfolio and personal brand Gain handson experience in a growing nonprofit Flexible scheduling that fits around school or work Key Responsibilities Manage Live Mores social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) Create and schedule content including event promotions, quotes, recaps, and updates Design visually engaging and emotionally resonant content using tools like Canva Engage with followers and support growth of our online community Promote events and encourage public participation Develop strategies to increase visibility and audience engagement Support outreach to potential partners, organizations, and collaborators Attend events to capture content, network, and support public engagement efforts Who Were Looking For Strong interest in social media, storytelling, and digital engagement Experience using platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Canva, and Reels Confident communicator with creative ideas Strong written and verbal English skills Selfmotivated and reliable with posting schedules Openminded, nonjudgmental, and respectful of diverse values and experiences Comfortable working independently and collaboratively Willing to attend community events and network Passionate about youth empowerment, mental health, and Black communities Requirements Legal residency in Canada (citizenship, PR, work permit, or valid visa) Reliable and able to meet volunteer commitments Willingness to follow Live More policies, procedures, and Code of Ethics Ability to maintain confidentiality Access to a phone or laptop and reliable internet Willingness to sign a Volunteer Work Agreement Participation in ongoing training and development opportunities How to Apply Email with a short message introducing yourself and sharing why youre interested in volunteering with Live More.
