Company Description Ferrovial Construction Canada Inc. and VINCI Construction Grands Projets will design, build and finance the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations and Tunnel (South Civil) package. What is the project? A six-kilometer tunnel and associated tunnelling works from Exhibition to Don Yard portal (west of the Don River) Stations: One above-ground station integrated with the existing GO Transit Exhibition Station Two underground stations integrated with the existing TTC Osgoode and Queen subway stations Four new underground stations (King/Bathurst, Queen/Spadina, Moss Park, Corktown) The benefits to Ontario! Improve the quality of life for commuters by reducing daily travel time Reduce crowding on the existing Line1 (Yonge-University) subway Up to 57,000 more jobs accessible by transit (in 45 minutes or less) for Toronto residents Economic and community growth along the future transit line and thousands of job opportunities annually during construction Reduction in traffic congestion, greenhouse gases and fuel consumption by providing an alternative transportation option Job Description The Subcontract Administrator provides sitespecific administration of engineered equipment, site works, professional services, and permanent plant materials subcontracts. The role includes daytoday administration of subcontracts while interfacing with project procurement, project control, finance, and operations groups. Key Responsibilities Administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives, negotiating terms, ensuring compliance and maintaining relationships. Work with contract handlers to ensure conformance to contract provisions and assist with contract correspondence, reviewing terms and documenting communications. Prepare change orders and claim packages, coordinating with project teams to assess changes and negotiate terms with subcontractors. Support payment approvals by verifying invoices, ensuring compliance with payment terms and resolving disputes. Support resolution of subcontractor grievances and claims through investigation, mediation and solution implementation. Review subcontractor claims and contracts for conformance to project policy, conducting thorough reviews and identifying discrepancies. Apply subcontracting policies and procedures, conducting training, distributing policy documents and monitoring adherence. Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and general database utilization. Bachelors degree in construction management, business, engineering, supplychain management or equivalent. 13years of experience in an engineering and/or constructionrelated role. Basic knowledge of procurement, estimating, expediting, offsite supplier quality, subcontract administration and site purchasing. Detailoriented, highly motivated and able to manage time effectively. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Team player able to work independently to meet goals and deadlines.
