Job Title Off-Site Fiberglass Pool Repair Technician Job Details Employment Type: Full Time Location: Canada/USA travel required Wages: $19.00 $25.00 per hour based on experience Closing Date: April 14, 2026 Existing Vacancy: Yes AI Use Disclosure: No Responsibilities Travel to customer and dealer locations in Canada and USA to perform fiberglass pool inspections and repairs. Expect to be offsite for approximately 5 days per week during April to October Repair cosmetic and structural defects including cracks, chips, scratches, and gelcoat damage Sand, grind, fill, and prepare fiberglass surfaces for repair and refinishing Apply gelcoat and perform color matching to blend repairs seamlessly with the existing finish Buff and polish repaired areas to achieve a high-gloss, factory-quality appearance Diagnose installation-related finish issues and recommend corrective actions when necessary Maintain repair equipment, materials, and service vehicle organization Document repairs completed and communicate findings with the service team Represent the company professionally while working on customer property Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and styrene-control measures Skills/Qualifications Experience in fiberglass repair, automotive refinishing, marine gelcoat repair, or composite finishing Skilled in sanding, grinding, polishing, and cosmetic defect correction Ability to produce high-quality cosmetic finishes with strong attention to detail Comfortable using DA (Dual-Action) sanders, buffers, grinders, and hand tools Ability to work independently in field environments Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to customer locations Able to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors, and perform physically demanding tasks Additional Information Stable full-time employment with a growing Canadian manufacturer Training in advanced fiberglass and gelcoat repair techniques Company tools and PPE provided Opportunity to advance into Quality Control, Mold Repair, or Field Service Leadership Supportive team environment We are looking to fill 1-4 positions in this role How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to apply by submitting their cover letter and resume to Mike at Note: This job advertisement has been provided by an external employer.
