Job Details Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) M2 Job Location: Trenton, ON Job Code: 35345 Job Schedule: Rotation Shift (5/5/4) Compensation Range: Between $40.75 $52.75 CDN per hour Responsibilities Reporting to the Operations Supervisor for performance and coordination of work, in accordance with approved policies and procedures, and will be ready to sign a Maintenance Release for their work. The employee shall be the holder of a Transport Canada AME M-2 license, with demonstrated knowledge of the AMO and its Quality Program and an ACA Authorization to sign a maintenance release in respect to work performed on aeronautical products. Assign tasks to all personnel under their assigned area of responsibility; Oversee all personnel under their assigned area of responsibility; Hold all qualifications required for assigned duties and responsibilities as per their primary classification in addition to Lead Responsibilities; Perform work, up to and including certification with approved processes; Report any un-airworthy conditions discovered (including Service Difficulties); Liaise directly with engineers & supply chain to resolve technical issues; Utilize certified/calibrated standard measuring and test equipment; Familiarize with L3 MAS Policies and Processes; Marshalling, fueling and towing of aircraft; Maintain a clean work area; Perform duties such as repair, modification and maintenance of aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance procedures; Report any un-airworthy conditions discovered; Familiarisation of the MPM and related processes; and Participate in the Safety Management System Program Committee on Aircraft, if requested. Qualifications Must hold an AME license appropriately rated (M2) and have qualifications on heavy aircraft in the following areas: Engine/Airframe interface; Environmental Control; Electrical System; Hydraulic System; Fuel System; and Flight Control System. Eligibility Criteria: Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program; must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance; and must be eligible to meet the requirements for ITAR (U.S. ITAR).
