Job Description

Position Summary Position is responsible for supervising daily distribution center (DC) operations including scheduling, hiring, and training of DC Associates. Oversees day to day DC functions in receiving, order filling, or shipping. Prioritizes daily workflow to ensure customer requirements are met. What Youll Do Plan and schedule DC personnel to ensure proper staffing in order to receive, order fill, or ship products in a productive, safe, and costefficient manner. Conduct daily startup meetings; organize daily assignments and workload to associates, and assign duties accordingly. Establish or adjust work assignments to meet daily production schedules. Train associates in the proper execution of standard operating procedures (SOPs). Implement and ensure followthrough, and verify the accuracy and completeness of all records and documentation activities within the work group. Ensure that products are received, orders are filled, and shipped to stores in a timely manner to maximize customer service. Maintain time and attendance, productivity, and quality records daily. Prepare and generate the daily productivity reports (TPR) for management. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs). Participate in the selection of operation associates; implement departmental training and job rotation activities; initiate plans to motivate associates; administer performance management (coaching and accountability) including the annual review process; provide development and training in all functional areas. Promote a positive, inclusive work environment through effective communication and interpretation of company policies for associates; provide coaching and counseling, respond to general inquiries, and analyze and resolve work problems in a timely manner in accordance with company policies (e.g., open door, progressive discipline, effective documentation and followup). Maintain employmentrelated programs and procedures, including health and safety, housekeeping, and cultural programs, to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policy.
