Position Summary Caron Equipment Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HSE Administrator to join our team at our Head Office in Timmins, Ontario. This role plays a key part in supporting the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) function across our operations. The HSE Administrator will be responsible for maintaining compliance systems, managing documentation, supporting reporting processes, and coordinating various HSE programs. Working closely with the HSE Manager and field teams, this position serves as a central hub for administrative control of HSE systems, ensuring accurate, audit-ready records and efficient communication between site and office. Key Duties and Responsibilities Manage training compliance, including tracking certifications, expiries, and scheduling Administer contractor compliance (WSIB, insurance, onboarding documentation) Coordinate field-to-office reporting, including daily inputs and follow-up tracking Produce KPI and HSE performance reports (weekly, monthly, and trend analysis) Maintain SOPs, JSAs, and policies with proper version control and review cycles Oversee document control systems to ensure audit-ready, structured records Support and maintain HSE digital systems, forms, and workflows Coordinate HSE-related purchasing, inventory, PPE, and vendor management Track and maintain HSE equipment readiness and inspection records Administer drug and alcohol testing documentation and compliance tracking Support onboarding, orientation, and workforce deployment readiness Manage WSIB claims tracking and reporting Support WSIB Excellence Program administration and documentation Provide weekly meeting KPI support and action tracking Maintain organized, professional HSE office standards Perform general administrative and compliance support duties as required Qualifications 25 years of experience in an HSE, administrative, or compliance support role would be an asset Experience in construction, mining, or heavy civil environments is an asset Strong organizational and document control skills with high attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with HSE systems is an asset Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and coordination skills Knowledge of WSIB processes and safety compliance requirements is an asset Working Conditions Office-based role located in Timmins, ON Monday to Friday schedule (35 hours/week) Regular interaction with field teams and operational leadership Fast-paced environment requiring strong organization and adaptability What We Offer Competitive compensation and benefits Opportunity to support large-scale mining and heavy civil operations Exposure to comprehensive HSE systems and processes Be part of a growing and dynamic organization If youre a detail-oriented professional looking to build your career in health and safety within a dynamic construction and mining environment, we want to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
